A new group has been launched in Ulverston to cater to the needs of people living with sight loss.
Organised by Vision Support Barrow and District, the sessions will take place on the second Monday of each month at Ulverston Methodist Church.

The inaugural meeting is set to happen on Monday, March 11 between 2pm and 4pm.
The group will provide a much-needed space for people struggling with vision impairments to take part in activities and meet other people, whether that is care professionals or people with similar issues.
This will go hand in hand with the numerous other groups that the organisation runs, including a 'low vision' clinic in Barrow once a month.
You can find out more about the different sessions by visiting the Vision Support website.
