Three people were caught in an overturned car on the M6 on Thursday after ending up in a ditch.
Fire crews from Milnthorpe, Carnforth and Lancaster attended what was described as a single vehicle Road Traffic Collision.
The team from Milnthorpe understandably described the work as a 'busy night' for the crews.
A spokesperson from Carnforth Fire Station said: "The vehicle had left the carriageway and ended up down a ditch, this made it difficult for all emergency services to spot due the vehicle being hidden by trees and vegetation.
"Eventually the vehicle was located, with two walking wounded and one needing aid from firefighters and paramedics.
"We returned home to the station at around 01:30am ready for our next call-out."
