A pub in Kirkby Lonsdale has been named as a finalist for a national award.
As a result, the Royal Barn, found on New Road, has the right to call itself one of the best independent craft beer pubs in a rural area this year.
They are a finalist in the Society of Independent Brewers Awards (SIBA), which promote excellence in the brewing industry.
The team at the Royal Barn shared the 'exciting' news on Monday and wished good luck to their fellow competitors.
Their specific award category is for pubs or bars which have shown an 'extraordinary commitment to serving the best quality and range of independent craft beers'.
The Royal Barn will be going up against Baileyhead in Oswestry and Vocation & Co. from Hebden Bridge at the awards presentation in Liverpool next month.
