A one-man version of the seminal classic 'The War of the Worlds' is coming to the Coro in Ulverston.
Presented by the 'Don't Go Into The Cellar' theatre company, the production will take place on Tuesday, May 28 from 7:30pm.
Transforming the classic H.G. Wells novel, award-winning actor Jonathan Goodwin has also penned the adaptation, presenting an original take on the story.
Instead of modernising the tale, Goodwin will present a slice of true Victorian theatre in order to remain faithful to the science fiction story of Martian invasion.
The play follows the struggles of one man as he endeavours to find his beloved wife whilst evading the destruction and chaos plaguing the world.
Standard tickets cost £13 and you can get yours by visiting the Coro website.
