Jet Ltd, the company behind Morecambe venues Jump Rush, Soul Bowl, Vista, Pleasureland, and Johnny’s, is set to add another fun-filled venture to its portfolio.

Laser Rush, an 'exciting' laser tag arena, will be housed in the former B&M building.

Laser Rush will boast two distinct battle zone grounds named Destination Apocalypse and Battle Barracks.

Caroline Walker, area manager of Jet Ltd, said: "The team has been hard at work building the battle set-ups, which feature really cool hiding places, mazes and scenery.

"The guns are the latest in laser technology and have some really awesome games such as 'Defend the Keep,' 'Team Deathmatch,' and 'Domination.'"

A variety of age groups will find enjoyment in Laser Rush; the space is designed to accommodate parties and diverse event groups, providing a myriad of room and food options.

Jet Ltd director Solly Reader said: "The way we have set up the zones means you can have quite a serious battle in there, so it is definitely for adults as well as kids!

"Plus we have the optional add-on of Electrotag, which gives a small electric shock every time you get hit

"The beauty of the set-up is the link-in with our other venues, meaning you can come to Laser tag then add on any number of food and drink options - from pizza in Vista to full hire of Johnny’s Bar."

Package deals encompassing stag parties, hen dos with bottomless brunch, team-building days, birthday parties and educational organisations group bookings are set to be offered.

Future plans also include dual tickets for trampolining and laser tag.

The venue is due to open one zone on February 10, and the second battle zone will follow later in the month.

Laser Rush is launching its operations with a 10 per cent discount on all bookings made and taken in February when using promo code FEB10.
