A PENSIONER has been ordered to pay over £1,000 in court costs and fines after pleading guilty to drink driving.
Gerard O’Sullivan, of Crescent Green in Kendal, was banned from driving for 15 months at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on January 31.
It comes after the 70-year-old man admitted to driving his Grey Dacia on the A591 on January 15 after consuming 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Magistrates banned O’Sullivan for a period of 15 months and fined him £807.
He was also required to pay a £323 surcharge and £85 in court costs.
