AREAS in a Lake District forest still remain blocked with windblown trees.
Grizedale Forest workers have removed most of the windblown trees but some areas remain blocked, affecting some of the way-marked routes.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson for the forest said machines will be required on-site to help with moving multiple windblowns.
The post said: "We currently have no children's activity trail at present. This area was hit the hardest, but we will keep you updated as soon as we are able.
"A map is very helpful at the moment so you can navigate yourself around any newly blocked paths.
"Thank you for your patience whilst we are dealing with this work."
Maps can be downloaded at www.forestryengland.uk/grizedale or purchased from the centre currently open from 10am to 4pm.
