A charity based in Carnforth is hoping that 'pony therapy' can be the key to helping its clients.
Pebble Healthcare Limited supports adults with various learning and physical disabilities.
Recently, one of the junior leaders at the charity won a pony therapy experience during The Care Show in Birmingham, which will now be used to give back to the community.
Debbie Winter, the team leader, said: "The event will take place at the Village Hall in Holme, where we are inviting local children and the people we support to spend two hours at our animal therapy.
"Our service users are looking forward to meeting the ponies and in general having a day out in the community during this time of year even with the bad weather."
The pony day is set to take place on Thursday, February 1 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm, and you can reserve your place by calling 01524 733268.
