A BIRD of prey was captured rousing in the snowy weather.
A video shared by Settle Falconry shows 13-year-old Daisy rousing. Birds of prey rouse when they are happy and before taking flight - it shakes any dust from feathers and provides a pre-flight check.
Daisy has been owned by Kieren Bathers at Settle Falconry since she was two weeks old and when Kieren was 16 years old.
Then, working at a Yorkshire falconry centre, Kieren met David Edwards, and in 2015, when the centre owners retired, they founded Settle Falconry to continue their hobby and passion.
Over the years, Daisy has done countless demonstrations and falconry experience days and has even visited weddings.
Settle Falconry is located in the hamlet of Feizor, four miles from the market town of Settle in the North Yorkshire Dales.
