A Lake District pub has shown off just some of its cutest doggy customers of 2023.
The Flying Pig in Bowness-On-Windermere prides itself on being a dog-friendly pub and showed off some of the cutest pets that have visited over the last 12 months.
Dogs are welcome into the bar area and the venue has dedicated taps and bowls outside where they can enjoy a refreshing drink also.
The pub, ran by High Spirits Leisure group, took to its Facebook page on Thursday (January 4) and posted photos of a wide variety of doggos of all shapes and sizes.
The company's lovable mascot, Bruno, even met Graeme Hall from Dogs Behaving Badly in the pub back in September 2023.
Staff understand that dogs are an integral part of the family, and say they aim to go the extra mile to ensure their comfort.
A spokesperson for The Flying Pig said: "We've had a pawesome year welcoming dogs and puppies of all shapes and sizes into our venues, we love giving a fuss and biscuit to our four-legged friends and look forward to seeing them and their owners again when they make a return visit!
"Whoever said you can't buy happiness, has obviously never owned a dog."
The company also runs other dog-friendly venues in Bowness including The Arts Bar and The Tap Rooms as well as Ambleside pubs The Flying Fleece and the Tap Yard and the Yewdale Inn in Coniston.
