An 'epic hike' through the 'best scenery' that the Lake District has to offer is making its grand return in the summer.
The date for the K2K challenge, which raises money for Carer Support South Lakes, has been set for June 8.
Devised by Stuart Graves in 2021, the route covers the 30 mile stretch from Keswick to Kendal.
Participants, with a registration fee of £10, can put themselves through the full length of the challenge, join for 15 miles from Ambleside or finish the final six miles from Staveley.
With a minimum sponsorship pledge of £100, the event will start from 7:00am at Moot Hall before finishing at Kendal's Market Place, roughly 10 hours later.
The idea behind the fundraiser is to increase awareness of the many unpaid carers operating in the region, with past efforts bringing in excess of £4000.
