The Royalty Cinema in Bowness is showing classic Christmas film It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve this year.
It is inviting both old and new customers to the annual screening, which starts at 5pm on December 24.
Revered as an uplifting Christmas story since its release in 1946, the film continues to draw repeat and new audience year after year.
It's A Wonderful Life stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a selfless man who puts his community before his dreams, leading to a life-changing intervention on Christmas Eve.
A Royalty Cinema spokesperson said: "The film really gets you in the mood for Christmas,"
"After everyone has been rushing round doing their last-minute shopping, this is the time to wind down and start enjoying the festive season.
"There’s nothing like seeing this film in the company of happy filmgoers, and we need something to make us happy just now.
They continue: "We’re also serving mince pies and mulled wine, and screening vintage adverts along with other archive clips which are always well received.
"To me, it’s an essential part of Christmas, just like carols, mistletoe and turkey."
