A resident in Kendal was bitten by an English bulldog that had got loose on Thursday night.
The incident, which took place at around 8:00pm on December 7, saw the animal also attack other dogs.
The bulldog, which is believed to be called 'Boo Boo', is now in a secure location after being seized by police.
Around eight years old, the dog has brown fur with white patches on its face.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity and seen an English Bulldog off the lead in the area.
