ROAD conditions across South Cumbria continue to be affected by the snow as many remain closed or impassable.
In Millom, the A5093 is impassable both ways due to the snow between Millom and Hallthwaites.
The A592, at Kirkstone Pass is closed both ways due to snow between Troutbeck and Hartsop.
The A595 is closed both ways, and there is heavy traffic due to accident. The incident involves a lorry and there is ice from Silecroft to Silecroft.
The B5289 is closed both ways due to snow between Seatoller and Buttermere. Corney Fell is also closed due to snowfall in the area.
Hardknott Pass is closed both ways due to snow between Cockley Beck and Boot.
The A590 near Ulverston is now re-opened following an accident last night.
Cumbria Police said: "Please take extra care on the roads this morning."
"The roads are liable to be icy and slippery. Make sure you adjust your speed and driving accordingly. Let's make sure everyone reaches their destination safely."
