Parkdean Resorts has achieved an unprecedented consecutive hat-trick at the British Travel Awards, taking home three Gold Awards for the second year in a row.

The company operates four holiday parks in the Lake District and has now been recognised in every nomination it secured: Best Company for UK Family Holidays, Best Company for UK Parks and Lodges, and Best Company for Short Breaks.

These awards are determined by visitors to UK holiday parks, with a record 1,660,863 votes cast across the sector in 2023.

Xavier Vallee, Chief Customer Officer at Parkdean Resorts, said: “These awards mean so much to us because they’re voted for by the people who visit our parks.

"Our teams are committed to creating amazing experiences for all our holidaymakers and holiday home owners, and for so many members of the public to vote for us in these three categories shows what a fantastic impact our people have had over the last year.”

The Lake District holiday park operator manages 66 sites across the UK, including Fallbarrow, Limefitt, White Cross Bay, and Gatebeck, and has consistently secured high scores from visitors.

Evidence to this is the company's feedback scores which stand at 4.2/5 on Google, 4.5/5 on Facebook, and 4.1/5 on TripAdvisor in 2023, with 85 per cent of visitors indicating they would recommend Parkdean Resorts to others.

While receiving commendation at the British Travel Awards for the past 13 years, Parkdean Resorts extends its commitment beyond visitor experiences.

In 2023, it published its maiden Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report.

This extensive blueprint lays out the various ways the company plans to care for its parks, people, and the planet, aligning their efforts with all 17 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

They plan to deliver 25 wide-ranging commitments by 2025, from climate change and carbon, to spaces for nature and having sustainable relationships with its local communities.
