A charity fundraiser for carers across South Lakes has resulted in £18,000 going to the support of their work.
The 'Carers Ball' was hosted by Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on behalf of Carer Support South Lakes.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We're still on cloud nine from the ball, and we couldn't let the moment pass without giving a massive shoutout to everyone who attended, sponsored, and generously donated prizes.
"The collective efforts are going to make a real difference for our carers, and we can't thank everyone enough."
The event was supported by Hodgson's Decorators, Victoria Sedgwick Photography, Stramongate Press, Beetham Nurseries and Penningtons Tea and Coffee.
