The Westmorland Youth Orchestra is returning to Ambleside Parish Church on December 2, performing an array of jazz classics along with improvised pieces.
The concert will include a programme of favourites by Gerschwin, Duke Ellington and Bernstein, and there will be two pieces that are completely improvised.
Conductor, Fredrik Holm, said: "I'm not sure if this has ever been done before so come along and experience something new."
The concert will also feature performances from Jazinfusion, Westmorland Youth Orchestra's jazz group and Welcome Music before the concert from the junior wind and string groups.
Tickets can be purchased at the venue with prices starting from £2 for under-18s, with the cost otherwise being £10 or £8 for concessions.
