A CHRISTMAS fair to raise money for a cancer charity is set to take place near Carnforth.
Seasonal shoppers can enjoy a festive atmosphere in traditional stately home surroundings at CancerCare’s annual Leighton Hall Christmas Fair.
Suzie Reynolds, one of the owners of the hall, is once again opening the doors of her historic home to help raise money to provide therapy and support for local people affected by cancer and bereavement.
The fair will feature many festive stalls, including Christmas decorations, arts and crafts, cakes, cheese, clothing, tombola, raffle, seasonal wreaths and more - so there will be no shortage of gift ideas.
There will also be festive refreshments and heart-warming carol singing by the Yealand Church of England Primary School pupils.
Entry is £5 on the door including coffee, tea and mince pies.
The event is taking place on Wednesday December 6 from 10am to 2pm.
