Kendal will be hosting two of the biggest names in the UK's folk music scene this December.
Eliza Carthy and Jon Boden are embarking on a festive nationwide tour and are bringing their show to the Brewery Arts on December 7.
Their tour, 'Wassail 2023', aims to promote a time before carolling when seasonal songs were exchanged for money, food and ale.
Carthy, who has earned an MBE for her work, is teaming up with Boden to present traditional material on a stage decorated for the occasion.
They will take audiences back to some of the oldest songs in the English canon, telling Christmas tales, spreading good cheer and lighting up the darkest days of the year, ahead of Christmas Day itself.
Doors open on the night at 7:30pm with tickets costing £23.
