An estate agent business based in the Lake District has come away with two national awards this week.

Thomson Hayton Winkley Estate Agents, which has branches in Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Grange-over-Sands and Windermere, were triumphant at the EA Masters ceremony.

A spokesperson for the business said: "It was great to see and catch up with so many great business owners and other agents within the industry, hearing their stories and sharing ours as well.

"Not only did we get to see so many amazing people we also walked away with two awards, one going to our sales department and the other to the lettings department."

They went on to thank the sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants who made the victory possible.

The EA Masters is the UK's biggest estate agency leadership conference and exhibition, and it took place this year at Evolution London in Battersea Park.
