November 5 was a day to remember yet again across the Lake District with spectacular firework displays lighting up the sky.
Sports clubs and schools across the area put on a number of successful community events across the weekend, and we have collected some of the best photos taken.
Hundreds turned up to Mint Bridge in Kendal on Friday for their event which also had Taylor's funfair and many local food and drink vendors.
Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Union Club saw more than 3,000 visitors to their event on Sunday evening.
Brian Gregory, the chairman of the club, said: "Numbers are a little difficult to count accurately with under 14’s coming in for free, and there was a lot of them.
"There is no doubt most of the village will have been able to see the firework display also."
The whole event was organised by the Friends of Kirkby Lonsdale to help raise funds for the club, and they were responsible for amassing a large team of volunteers from the local community to help.
"It proved to be a great success, with a huge bonfire to keep our visitors warm and a firework display that lasted almost 20 minutes to keep them royally entertained," Mr Gregory added.
Sedbergh School, in the meantime, took a break from their usual classes to teach a lesson on how to properly mark the celebrations.
Matt Burns, Social Media and PR Officer from the school, said: "We were delighted to see our local community come together to enjoy the bonfire and firework display.
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has sent us very kind messages about the display and have shared their thanks - we're proud to be part of such a wonderful community."
Enjoying record crowds, Windermere Rugby Club held their annual 'Firework Extravaganza' with three live bands and a fire eater to go alongside the firework display to music.
Lindal Moor Cricket Club were not ones to miss out either with their event also including a musical performance from the Aerobees, an indie trio from the northwest.
