The 'Youth Speaks' competition, which took place on November 6, is an annual event ran by the Kendal Rotary Club, working to teach pupils how to make the most of their voice.
The competition involved five teams from four schools, each consisting of three pupils each.
The participants were tasked with delivering a presentation on their favourite topic, with each talk lasting 10 minutes.
The Queen Katherine School from Kendal, Windermere's The Lakes School, John Ruskin School in Coniston and Carnforth High School took part across two age brackets.
The intermediate class (ages 11-13) was won by the Queen Katherine School and the senior class (ages 14-17) was won by John Ruskin Team One.
