A miniature railway in Carnforth has installed a new defibrillator after profiling the age of their visitors.
Lancaster & Morecambe Model Engineering Society (LMMES) and the owners of Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway discovered that the majority of their guests were over the age of 60.
The survey was raised because the railway, due to its nature of operation, is slightly isolated from local mainstream activities.
In the hope of keeping their visitors safe in case of emergency, a collection fund was started to raise the money needed.
The defibrillator has now been delivered from London Hearts and has been installed in the LMMES clubhouse at the railway.
