Kendal Calling, Cumbria's premier festival, received a trio of award nominations last week following a blockbuster 2023.
In recognition of this year's sold-out event, the festival has been nominated in both the UK Festival Awards and LIVE Awards.
In the former, Kendal Calling is a contender in the Best Medium Sized Festival category, as well as Best Marketing Campaign.
A spokesperson for the festival said: "With pop up performances, late night explorations and a secret set or four, 2023 felt truly special.
"Whether the weekend was spent enjoying a brew in Tim Peaks Diner, wandering the woodlands of Lost Eden or bouncing around down the front of the main stage – it was a sensational Kendal Calling filled with otherworldly entertainment and escapism designed to intrigue, surprise and entertain all ages."
This year, over four days, forty thousand festival goers gathered in the fields at Lowther Deer Park, with the festival selling out for the 17th consecutive year.
The marketing recognition has come about through the organisers' sustainability work, with the 'Leave Nothing But Memories' drive to reduce waste and litter after the event was finished.
The UK Festival Awards will have its ceremony on December 5, coming back for its 18th edition.
The LIVE Awards recognise excellence in the field and Kendal Calling has been shortlisted in the Festival of the Year category!
The awards ceremony is due to take place on December 12 in London.
The spokesperson continued: "Each year, Kendal Calling unites a community of loyal festival-goers who gather to make Kendal the magical place that it is, with a collective sense of joy that is palpable across the entire site.
"The wonderful world of Kendal Calling has everything from world class artists, breakthrough bands, DJs, comedians and more, alongside all of the many nooks and crannies that are just waiting to be discovered."
Taking place one week later next year, from August 1-4, it is already looking set to be another spectacular four days in the fields as fans are snapping up tickets in record breaking time.
