ROAD works are set to be carried out tomorrow, October 23, in the Lake District.
A section of the U5772 in Bowness On Windermere will be closed while works are carried out.
Work is set to take one day to complete from 7am to 4pm.
Drivers can take an alternative route via Crook Road (B5284), Kendal Road (A5074) and the unrestricted section of Windy Hall Road.
Due to the nature of the works, it is not possible to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists through the site.
