A mountain rescue team in Cumbria are hosting an open day for the public this weekend.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue team will be opening the doors to their base at Ogilvie House on Sunday, October 22.
The session starts at 11:00am and runs until 4:00pm, with hot drinks and cakes provided for attendees.
People will get to see the command centre and inflatable power boat, along with meeting members of the team.
Rescue Land Rover ambulances will be on show, and a film about the art of mountain rescuing will be put on.
As part of celebrating the group's 60th anniversary, the event will also give people the chance to buy the team's newly released calendar.
