Next month, speed networking events promise to rev up business connections in Kendal.
Entrepreneurs and business managers in Cumbria will be offered the chance to connect rapidly with local businesses.
An accelerated networking event, hosted by LA23NET, is set for November 8 at The Venue, in Kendal.
It is an evening designed for individuals to quickly meet different businesses, to explain their operation and the benefits of working with them.
Emma Lindsay, recruitment director of NXT Recruitment, said: "This is an amazing opportunity to actually sit down and talk unapologetically about your business, with people that are genuinely interested.
"Speed networking is fast paced, but by the end of the night not only have you been able to introduce people to what you do, but you also find out more about some of the other brilliant businesses in our region.
"There’s not another event like this in Cumbria and I’m really looking forward to seeing who we get the opportunity to meet - and potentially collaborate with - in November."
Organisers believe in positive outcomes coming from full throttle networking.
Helen Statham, director of Intro PR and Social Media, who organise LA23NET, said: "At our first speed networking event in February everyone was absolutely buzzing after making all of these new connections in such a short space of time - we knew it wasn’t going to be the last time we did it.
"The Venue in Kendal is the perfect setting for speed networking; it’s relaxed, there’s good beer at the bar, and there’s plenty of space to switch seats as you get the chance to meet everyone in the room.
"It’s going to be slightly chaotic - but that’s part of the fun."
The event, sponsored by Edwin Thompson, The Cumberland, Harrison Drury, and NXT Recruitment, starts at 5.30pm, with tickets priced at £35 (+VAT).
In addition to a fun evening of fast-paced networking, attendees can enjoy pizza from Fiery Mammas and beers from Bowness Bay Brewery.
