Busking for Bendrigg raised over £1,500 for Bendrigg Trust.
The event, held on Friday, October 13, was backed by Kendal's Harrison Drury Solicitors and Rathbones.
It saw Harrison Drury Partner, John Osborne, form a band especially for the occasion.
The band crammed the learning of 21 songs into six weeks of rehearsals.
The event started with a 'fascinating' talk from Nick Liley of Bendrigg, followed by a two hour set from the band to a packed room of people from local businesses who also donated raffle prizes.
John said: “It was fantastic to play some classic covers to a full room of people and to raise money for such a good cause. Supporting our local community is a key objective of Harrison Drury - and we are so glad our friends and connections supported the event."
