An art exhibition is opening in Ambleside on Wednesday to showcase the beauty of the surrounding Lake District.
Taking place at the Ambleside Parish Centre in the Loughrigg Hall, the event will display works from members of the Ambleside and District Art Society.
Whilst an exclusive, invite-only private view is happening on Tuesday night, the free exhibition will open to the public from October 18 and runs until October 29.
This year, the money raised through the event will be going to Ambleside Action for a Future, a charity which aims to make the village carbon neutral in order to protect the environment that the artwork is set to represent.
The exhibition is open from 10:00am and will be introduced by Gillian Kelly from the charity being promoted.
