A cafe and coffee shop just outside the village of Orton has been named as the best eatery in Cumbria.
Orton Scar Cafe was given the honour at the England Business Awards, which took place in Carlisle on Sunday evening.
The awards celebrate regional excellence with the most recent ceremony bringing together the best business owners throughout the county.
Kate Parsley, owner of the establishment, said: "To be recognized is a brilliant achievement for the cafe as it is really hard being in catering at the moment.
"The awards ceremony was brilliant and it was lovely to see a lot of different businesses there all enjoying the evening."
Moving forward Mrs Parsley said the team would be looking to build upon the homemade food and warm atmosphere they already provide, which saw them win the award.
