Financial Management Bureau (FMB) is celebrating a new acquisition, broadening its footprint across Cumbria and boosting their clientele to approximately 1000.
Based in Kendal, FMB now owns David Hopkinson Independent Financial Advice situated in Wigton, and has also launched a new office in Cockermouth.
Managing Director Liz Beavis underscored FMB's commitment to retain a high quality service with the rise in their customer base.
“Our ambition is to continue to grow across Cumbria and the surrounding area and we’re really happy to have established a presence in Cockermouth to serve the north of the county,” said Liz.
“David Hopkinson IFA has been providing clients with a personal service and attention to detail for many years and this makes it a natural fit for FMB, where our team take exactly the same approach.
“We’re looking forward to continuing to work with them all, as well as increasing the number of people we serve in north and west Cumbria.”
Last year FMB, owned by national financial planning and wealth management group Finitor, also acquired Robert Meacock and Company, based in Kendal.
The company also recently added three more qualified financial planners to its team.
David Hopkinson, the founder of David Hopkinson IFA, valued the continuity of care for his clients greatly during the buyout discussions.
He commended FMB’s adept team and their dedication towards client service.
He said: “When I was considering the future of my business, it was vital to me that my clients continued to get the same level of care that I have given them all these years.
“It is clear that this is just what FMB will be able to provide. Their knowledgeable and experienced team really do go out of their way to look after their clients and the firm’s reputation speaks for itself.”
