A pub won a customer choice award at their parent company's annual conference.
The Highwayman in Nether Burrow was given the title by representatives from Brunning and Price.
It comes on the back of more recent success after the establishment was named pub of the year at the same award show in 2022.
Aimee Sharples, a member of the team at the Highwayman, said: "Thank you to you all who come and join us at the pub, who take the time to write the reviews and fill in those feedback forms.
"Whether you come in regularly or have managed to get to us once we appreciate you all."
Their parent company owns a number of pub restaurants in the North West of England and North Wales and has branched out further south in recent years.
The Highwayman itself started life as an 18th century coaching inn with its location around the Cumbria and Yorkshire borders a perfect spot to offer respite to those on their travels.
The pub is proud to maintain those same ideals and charm in the modern world.
"We love looking after our guests. We try to make it feel like we are welcoming you into our home paired with the delicious food from Rich and the kitchen team," Ms Sharples added.
"It has meant the world to our team to have been recognised for our efforts over the past couple of years."
The award comes just in time to promote their upcoming Oktoberfest, which is due to take place Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15.
The event will see specially created German meals being introduced to the menu, along with the expected high number of beers.
