A NEW amateur production is coming to a village hall in Burneside this week.
Vinegar Tom is being performed by the Burneside Amateur Theatrical Society at the Bryce Institute in Burneside between October 5 – 7 every evening from 7.15pm to 10.15pm.
The 1976 play by Caryl Churchill examines gender and power relationships through witchcraft trials in the 17th century in England.
The title comes from the name of one character’s pet who is supposed to be her familiar spirit.
Tickets cost £10 per person and can be purchased by clicking here, or by contacting the Box Office on 07792 777212.
