A pub in Lowick Green is set to host its first harvest fest this weekend.
The Farmer’s Arms have announced their Beer & Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1.
With a focus on all things local, the event is set to host local beer stalls, a produce swap & sell, fermentation workshops, a Sunday roast and live bands and DJ’s during the weekend.
Stallholders include St. James cheese, winemakers Northern Wine, and local breweries Gan Yam, Fell Brewery, Farm Yard Brew Co, Ulverston Brewing Company, Unsworth’s Yard.
With menus using meat from neighbouring farmers, fish and seafood from the Morecambe Bay, cheese from Holker and much of their fruit and vegetables from their own gardens, the festival is a celebration of local produce.
Entry to the festival is free and the full programme of workshops, music and more is available on their website.
