The descendants of acclaimed writer William Wordsworth are set to come together to read his poetry at Rydal Mount.
The event will take place on Friday, November 3, at 4pm, with the location being Wordsworth's former home.
It is an exclusive event and those attending will hear some of the 'most beautiful poetry ever written', read by Wordsworth’s great great great great-grandchildren.
One of them, Christopher Wordsworth Andrew, will be involved, having become a staple of similar reading events over the years.
Mr Andrew was also the mind behind Wordsworth250, an online event where celebrity fans uploaded their own readings.
Tickets are available www.rydalmount.co.uk/ and include a glass of wine and a slice of Grasmere gingerbread.
