A filmmaker from the Lake District is campaiging to save the red squirrel population in the UK.
Terry Abraham's latest offering is called 'Cumbrian Red: Saving Our Red Squirrels' and is set to premiere in London on Saturday, September 23.
The screening is happening at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, with Mr Abraham hoping that the audience will appreciate the importance of the film's central message.
He said: "The wider public need to know why the non-native North American grey squirrels are terrible for our ecosystems and, more importantly, why our beautiful reds are on the edge of extinction.
"It astonishes me that our red scamps are a national favourite species but the public by and large have no idea of the virus greys host and spread."
More information about the screening can be found here, and the trailer is available here.
