The annual Macmillan fundraiser at a hotel in Bowness is to be altered for this year's edition.
Burn How Hotel will be hosting a coffee and cake afternoon to raise money for the charity on Friday, September 29.
The event will run from 12 noon until 2pm as part of nationwide efforts to support people living with cancer.
Hotel proprietor Michael Robinson said: “It’s the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause."
Since its inception in 1990, coffee mornings across the country have raised £290 million for Macmillan, with £12 million being funded last year.
Staff and friends will be busy baking cakes for the event which has become one of the charity highlights in Bowness, with tourists and local people all expected to come along.
