A MAN is due to appear in court alleged to have caused harassment, alarm and/or distress to a police officer.
Scott O’Callaghan, of Whinfell Drive in Kendal is said to have used threatening/abusive or insulting words to PC Jenkin causing that person harassment, alarm or distress.
The 33-year-old also faces two charges of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 after allegedly destroying a window pane and damaging the windscreen of a Honda Civic.
The offences all are said to have occurred on March 19 in Kendal.
He is due to give an indication of plea at South Cumbria Magistrates Court in Barrow today (September 13).
