TICKETS have gone on sale for a new play that looks at life behind the doors of a care home.
Beyond Caring, by Durham-based playwright Christina Castling, will be performed at the Casterton Village Hall on November 2 at 7.30 pm and Kirkby Stephen Sports & Social Club on November 3 at the same time.
Castling has casted Judi Earl as Queenie, Rosie Stancliffe as Alex and Jacqueline Phillips as Elaine - a resident, relative and a carer at Cedar Point Care Home.
The production uncovers the reality of caring for others, looking after ourselves and getting older through honesty, humour and heartbreak, and also asks crucial questions about ageing and identity.
Tickets cost £12 per person and can be bought online at https://highlightsnorth.co.uk/event/beyond-caring/ or by calling 07531 143762.
There will be a cash bar and a raffle on the night.
Doors open at 7pm.
