Temple Heelis, a Lakeland law firm, has once again been ranked as the top firm in the region in the prestigious Chambers and Partners 'High Net Worth Guide'.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the firm has received this honour.
Not only has the firm been recognised as the premier firm in the region, but all three of its Private Client partners have been ranked as leaders in their field and 'Band 1' lawyers.
The Chambers and Partners 'High Net Worth Guide' is considered to be an authoritative guide to the UK legal profession.
Temple Heelis is the only firm in the region to receive the top accolade in this guide.
Temple Heelis’ Head of Private Client Services Robert Kornas, said: “I am very proud of our team and this excellent result. The Guide describes our team as a ‘major presence in the Cumbrian legal market’ covering all aspects of wills, inheritance tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, probate administration and advising individuals and families where health or other vulnerabilities exist.
“The Guide cites our team as having ‘a great level of knowledge and expertise’, being ‘very professional, knowledgeable and personable, and ‘working extremely well together’. I am also delighted to know that our focus on delivering outstanding client service is recognised in the Guide’s comments about our service and efficiency.”
One of Temple Heelis' notable private client lawyers, Jamie Hamilton, is praised for his technical expertise and high level of client service.
Clients have described him as personable and have commended his expertise and competence, combined with empathy, compassion, and kindness.
Another partner, Laura Priestley, is highly recommended for her knowledge and assistance in private client and Court of Protection work.
Clients appreciate her approachability and technical skills.
Robert Kornas is described as "gifted in explaining complicated legal matters, even when the apparent straight-forward can be complex. He is patient in explaining key points in the proceedings, without being patronising and furthermore he is a good listener."
Temple Heelis' 12-strong Private Client team is one of the largest in the region.
The firm's Private Client team continues to expand, and they are currently recruiting for new roles, including a qualified private client solicitor.
