A hiker called Cumbria police after she got lost on a Lake District fell.
Coniston Mountain Rescue team were called just before 4pm on Wednesday after a woman reported she was lost in high bracken - a native British fern commonly found in woodland and heathland.
Rescuers managed to pinpoint her location on steep ground near Rigg Head in the Yewdale Fells. A small team was dispatched in two Land Rovers which went to locate her and guide her back down.
Thirteen members attended with the rescue lasting for around one hour and 30 minutes.
