MICHELIN star chef Simon Rogan's Academy is now accepting applications from prospective front-of-house student apprentices.
In collaboration with Kendal College, the academy has been designed to take students on a journey into the world of hospitality through hands-on learning.
Successful front-of-house team applicants will work across Simon’s Lake District restaurants five days a week, which will also include eight hours of training delivered by the relevant in-house teams on a weekly basis, which will also be supplemented with additional training each month provided by expert tutors at Kendal College.
The course will encompass food and beverage service, customer care, general guest services, an introduction to business management, supervision and team leadership.
Students will also undertake barista and mixology training alongside a Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 2 qualification.
All of the student’s training is underpinned with structured learning provided by designated tutors at Kendal College’s Culinary School.
