FORMER members of a famous English pop rock band are to perform at a venue in Kendal.
The South will perform The Beautiful South's timeless classics to fans at the Brewery Arts Centre on August 4 at 19.30 PM.
Singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong saxophone player Gaz Birtles were original members of the group from 1988.
Since the demise of The Beautiful South in 2007, this new nine piece live band have spent 14 years touring festivals and theatres around the UK singing the number one single, A Little Time, as well as many other popular album tracks.
Alison Wheeler (vocals), Gaz Birtles (vocals), Phil Barton (guitars), Steve Nutter (bass), Dave Anderson (drums), Karl Brown (percussion), Gareth John (trumpet), Su Robinson (sax) and Andy Price (keyboards) make up The South.
