AN electric car leasing website named Tebay Services as one of the best places to charge vehicles.
Drive Electric conducted a study based on the number of electric vehicle (EV) chargers, the average price of EV charging facilities, user review ratings on Motorway Services Online and the number of shops and food facilities.
The study ranked Tebay as the eighth-best service station for electric vehicles. This is because it has 14 chargers, the average charging cost is £0.55/kWh, and it has a review rating of four out of five.
Tebay was joint top for most shops with Gloucester, with six shops each.
Rugby was ranked as the best service station for EV drivers. The cheapest station for electric vehicle charging is Scotch Corner at £0.50/kWh, and the most expensive was Sarn Park at £0.76/kWh.
