The search for missing Cumbrian businesswoman Mary Monkman has entered its twelfth day with no new leads.
The mum-of-three and co-owner of Kendal food and drink company Lakeland Artisan was last seen on Friday, June 16. The 49-year-old is believed to have driven near Loch Doon in Ayrshire that Friday afternoon.
Police Scotland issued a fresh appeal to the public after police dogs, drones and helicopters joined the search. Her family and colleagues have not been able to establish a reason for the disappearance.
She is described as being around 5ft 10ins with long, wavy, auburn hair which she often wears in a bun. She wears glasses and was last seen around 4pm wearing a green and white floral top and blue leggings.
Inspector Jennifer McCulloch said: "I would encourage anyone who has seen Mary since Friday, 16 June, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible quoting reference 2648 of Saturday, 17 June, 2023."
