A holiday park has been recognised as one of the best.

Holgates' Silverdale has been named Best Campsite and Caravan Park for 2022/23 by AA.

The award recognises outstanding quality and customer care and the Silverdale holiday park has been featured as a 5-star park in the AA Caravan and Camping Guide 2023.

Holgates is a family-run business with 5-star campsites across Cumbria, Lancashire and the Ribble Valley.

Holgates Silverdale is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has a variety of accommodation options, including static caravans, touring pitches and glamping pods. Visiting guests can enjoy access to an indoor pool, gym and bowling lanes.

The award was judged by AA inspectors, who praised the high standards of service at the park, as well as the cleanliness and quality. They also rated activities, facilities and accommodation.
