Man accused of drink driving
A MAN is set to appear in court accused of drink driving.
Liam Ashley Mayes, of Dallam Drive in Sandside, Milnthorpe, is accused of driving a motor vehicle when above the legal limit of alcohol.
The 43-year-old is accused of driving a Aston Martin Vantage on The Square, Milnthorpe, when having 82mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mg.
This incident is said to have taken place on March 29, 2023.
He will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 14, to face his charge.
