POLICE are investigating a collision on the A5084, near Blawith.
The collision happened at 9am today (March 30) and involved a silver Ford Puma.
The driver, a man in his fifties, was taken to Furness General Hospital, where he was described as being in a 'serious condition'.
Officers are asking for any witnesses or any drivers who may have dashcam footage that could have captured the vehicle before the collision to come forward.
