NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of South Lakeland’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Restaurants, cafes and canteens
The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Kendal Golf Club at High Tenterfell, Kendal; rated on March 17
• Rated 5: Holker Hall at Cark In Cartmel, Grange-Over-Sands; rated on March 15
• Rated 5: Jubilee Masonic Club at 24 Ellerthwaite Road, Windermere; rated on March 13
• Rated 5: Lyth Valley Country Inn Ltd at A5074 Lyth, Kendal; rated on March 9
• Rated 5: Rogan & Company at The Square, Cartmel; rated on March 9
• Rated 5: Joey's Cafe, Wray Castle at Wray Castle, Low Wray, Ambleside; rated on March 8
• Rated 5: Auction Mart Cafe at North Lonsdale Terrace, Ulverston; rated on March 7
• Rated 5: Goody Blake's at The Old Coach House, Stock Lane, Grasmere; rated on March 6
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The New Inn at 98 Highgate, Kendal; rated on March 10
