A POPULAR Easter beer festival is returning to town with dozens of varities on offer for beer lovers.
Bowness Bay Brewing is hosting the Easter Beer Festival from April 7 until April 9 in Kendal.
The award-winning brewery is bringing 41 lines of beer and 32 guest breweries coming in.
Anna Martin, operations and events manager at Bowness Bay Brewing, said last year's event was 'a hit' and the feeback was 'incredible'.
She said: "We met a lot of different people so we are really looking forward to this year's event.
She said: "The core of the festival is the same as last year. We just want people to come here as a family, meet other people and enjoy some different beers that they might have not sampled.
"Last year we did a fundrasing in aid of the Blood Bikes and that raised over £1,000 so we are looking to support them as our charity again at this beer festival."
The festival will take place across The Venue and The Barrel House and seating will be available within both as well as the beer garden in the yard.
Festival-goers will enjoy live music every afternoon and night and food by Kendal’s Food From the Fells, Castle Mills Kitchen and Hansens Ice Cream Parlour and Cafe.
Anna said: "We will have live music which can be outside if the weather permits, if not the live music will be in The Venue.
"On Friday afternoon we are excited that we have Tote coming back in. They are a local college band and they supported Kendal Rocks that we have just hosted at The Venue.

Some of the breweries supplying the festival will be McColl's Brewery, Dargavel Brewery, Vault City Brewing and Otherworld Brewing.
